MEDIA EDITOR
I work as a media editor and research analyst. This means that I compile research and facts and write up content for various websites. Some are educational, others are for people to help them do their jobs, and some are simply trivia. The similarities of type 1 and 2 diabetes, exactly where Atlantis would have floated on the Atlantic Ocean, what the Native Americans living on the Pacific coast worshiped, how the Japanese designed and built their castles during their medieval period, why Europeans mostly drive on the left side of the road and what it has to do with Napoleon. Yeah, I’ve gone through and picked a lot of interesting and ultimately useless facts. Why do I need to know how to build a castle? I suppose an even better question would be why I need to know how to build a Japanese castle. I don’t have a royal family or a hoard of gold to protect. But it’s all part of my job. This is the type of thing I’m looking up and then writing about all day long. I used to love watching the history channel on cable. Now I can’t even be bothered so it’s just more information I would have to absorb just by watching it. I can’t even read a book anymore.
