SOMETHING ON THE NEWS
I spent the first part of my day picking up some diabetic supplies and the rest of the time I spent looking for something special for my girlfriend. The beginning of April will mark one year that we've been together. She probably thinks I will forget! To be honest, I've been thinking about this for a long while. Aside from getting her something, I wanted to do something really unique. I actually heard about something on the news that I know she would love and I wanted to surprise her with it. It's called dining in the dark and you go to this restaurant and everything is pitch black. The servers are blind and the idea is that you're experiencing what they experience on a daily basis. When I ran the idea past a friend she was saying she actually did that with a buddy of hers. She said it was incredible. I asked her to tell me more about it and she said they put rose petals on the table that you can feel by putting your hands on the table and she said they both wound up putting the silverware aside and eating with their hands! She said it would be a really romantic setting since everything is pitch black. Everything she described sounded perfect. My girlfriend is going to love every minute of it!
